Mallory HyFire 6-A
Ignition Control Unit Review |
Performance After 200 miles of road testing and a few quarter mile runs I found the Mallory HyFire ignition box to perform very well at all RPM ranges. Coupled with the MSD Blaster SS coil I also installed, the the Mallory unit keeps a consistent hot spark from 0 to 7500 RPMs on my Honda D16 motor, and will even perform at higher RPM ranges given the engine can take it. I found the car starts easier, runs smoother and pulls harder under load then with the stock ignition. Conclusion In my opinion the Mallory HyFire ignition control unit performs as good or better then other higher priced brands. Why spend money on a name when its performance your after? |
